Time to "ROUND-UP" for the 20 YEAR REUNION!!

Get ready to see those long lost friends, meet their families, and hear those great memories of yesteryear...and don't forget those great songs from the 80s-punk rock, pure country, and the Hair Bands.

Date: Saturday, November 15th, 2008

Place: Eddie Deen's Ranch, Downtown Dallas, TX

(Our reserved party/banquet room has a rustic look with a Corral/Saloon theme)

Time: 7:00-11:00 pm.

Dinner: Eddie Deen's Famous BBQ Buffet-style, w/brisket, sausage, chicken, pinto beans, Eddie's famous BBQ sauce, homemade rolls, potato salad, cole slaw, relish tray, vanilla buttermilk pie, chocolate fudge pecan pie, chocolate chip cookies, iced tea, and lemonade.

Entertainment: Professional DJ, dance floor area, music, interactive games, and lights.

** Cash bar will be open with bartender services in a Saloon themed area. **

Cost: We need to make a deposit as soon as possible..to be able to hold on to our contract reservation. A deposit of half of the total ($25.00/person) is due by August 31st, 2008 and the remaining half ($25/person) is due by September 30, 2008. If you would like to pay in FULL with just one payment, please do so by the August deadline. Please Note: If you are unable to pay your final amount by the due date of September 30th, 2008 your total cost will be $55.00/person at the door.

Note: The Parking Lot at Eddie Deen's Ranch is not owned by Eddie Deen-it is owned by a company in Dallas. They charge $5.00/car -if the parking booth is open. If we have enough money in the budget we will pay for this at the end of the event, if not we will need to collect it during the reunion.

Reunion UPDATE.....

For those of you that have inquired.... the 20 years reunion is still being planned. I exchanged emails with Tammy this week and she has been dealing with family issues recently and is still working on the reunion plans. She said we are looking at the Fall - probably sometime in October. I hope to meet up with her over the next few weeks and see what additional assistance I can offer her. Check back for details SOON......

Its been a LONG, LONG time....

Can you believe its been 20 years since we graduated from FHS? I know I can't! It seems like just yesterday that I was living in Quinlan and attending Ford High. I can vividly remember what the inside of the school looked like, where most of my classes were, who sat where during lunchtime, and most of your faces and names are still engraved in my head (well not literally, but I do have a good memory of those days!!).

As life passes us all by, with children of our own and adult problems and worries, it will be nice to reconnect with each of you soon. I remember going to our 10 year reunion back in 1998 so very nervous as I was wondering who would be there and what everyone would look like. I was excited to see so many welcoming and familiar faces when I arrived.

For some reason, I am even more excited this time. Maybe its because I am at a more settled and happy place in my life than I was back then. Maybe its because as I get older I realize that I NEED to reconnect with my past. Maybe its to see how much (if any) each of you has changed this time... I know I have gotten a few more grey hair and wrinkles than last time!

Just know that even though recent contact has been limited over the years, I think of you all often and I am looking forward to seeing you soon! :)
